Reading Round Up

So far this year I have read five books.

Three of these were on Kindle (Below Zero, Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour and Reminders of Him), one was a physical book (The Lost Tide Warriors) and one an audiobook (The Office BFFs). According to Goodreads, I am ‘on track’!

My favourite book so far is The Lost Tide Warriors. This is the second book in a trilogy. I loved the first book so much, that I read it three times before I was ready to move on to Book Two. Doyle’s writing is so beautiful, descriptive and emotive that I savour every word. They may be a children’s books, but they are still wonderfully written. I am going to take a break before I read the third book, The Storm Keeper’s Battle, because I want to make the most of it.

Next up I’m going to read The Dictionary of Lost Words which my lovely friend bought me for Christmas; it looks right up my street.
