Evenings are a bit mixed around here lately. Sometimes it is a picture of serenity (which in truth means everyone is likely on a screen) or it is hectic with chores and raised voices and after-school activities.
This evening, we have managed to strike a fragile harmony where we have each had some downtime, made and eaten some delicious dinner at the table without any complaints, and Austin has done his homework in good humour. Even the reminder that we needed to take the dog out didn’t set anyone off!
