This is one of the prompts from the Year of Reflection that I didn’t get to way back when but I just found it while mining through old emails.
This quotation paints such beautiful images and combines captivating moments in nature with truly soulful moments in our existence as humans. There are some time when I feel quite hopeless about our species: there is such cruelty, division, apathy and hate. Reading words like this can help renew hope. They can allow us to marvel at those moments of wonder and seek them out in our everyday lives.
And if we are just a collections of atoms in an infinite universe, isn’t it lovely to think about us being part of some larger cosmic dance?
