The artist’s date that I was so looking forward to did not happen today. I got a call from Austin’s school to say he was still in pain so I had to collect him and bring him home. This then led to me getting back in touch with our private medical insurance company to see what I could arrange in terms of care for him as he is clearly not doing too well at the moment. I am almost certain that he is just very unsettled at school and this is making his otherwise manageable symptoms unmanageable.
I did manage to get a walk with Harper in before I had to pick up Austin so I listened to my latest Audible listen (the wonderfully gothic Starling House by Alix E. Harrow) while enjoying the sun sparkling woods. There is something so enchanting about sunshine after the rain in the woods.
