Here are some of the places I would like to visit in 2024 but this is not a list I expect to complete. With my work future unknown, we will not be able to visit everywhere but I like having dreams and plans.
1. York
I have long wanted to visit this beautiful English town.
2. Italy – maybe Tuscany
Both children have asked to go to Italy and it is a country very close to my heart. I miss being able to visit regularly.
3. Paris
Perhaps my favourite city in the world, I have not been to Paris for years now and we have not visited the city itself with either child (Evelina has been to Disneyland Paris).
4. The Balearic or Canary Islands
Evelina in particular is keen to visit Spain as she is currently learning Spanish and it is probably her favourite subject. We would love to have a holiday where we can relax and enjoy the sun.
5. Scottish Highlands
As well as having stunning scenery, there are also some Harry Potter filming locations such as the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
