There are a few films coming out in 2025 that I am excited about and I am definitely looking forward to getting out to the cinema more this year as we have barely been in recent years. These are five films that jump out to me:
- Snow White – I know these film has been mired in controversy but I am not interested in that negative noise.
- Superman – I am a big fan of Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel Superman but I do think this looks like a return to the spirit of the Christopher Reeve films.
- Captain America: Brave New World – maybe this will bring me back into the MCU as my enthusiasm for it has waned lately.
- 28 Years Later – I am a big fan of this zombie franchise so I am excited for this one. I doubt I will go to the cinema though as I am too much of a chicken to not watch in the haven of my own home!
- Frankenstein – Oscar Isaac (who is great in everything) plays the eponymous doctor and it is directed by Guillermo del Toro so it is bound to be visually stunning.
