It has become a bit of a thing of the past, sitting down to watch the weekly installment of the latest drama. Most of the shows we watch nowadays either release all the episodes at the same time or are already fully available as we are watching them well after the original air date. In fact, most of the time it is a conscious choice to wait to start watching precisely so that we can watch multiple episodes together, to save ourselves the agony of waiting a week to find out what happens next.
But with the new season of Happy Valley, I just couldn’t wait. Tonight we caught up on last night’s episode so now we have just six nights to endure until we find out what Tommy is going to do next, or what Rob will do about his grisly discovery, or whether Catherine is really going to retire… it might be agony but it is a fun kind of agony.
