December Reading

I have read 44 books this year (including ebooks on Kindle and audiobooks). According to Goodreads, this means that I am three books behind schedule, but since I have a few on the go and some time away from work coming up, this is not worrying me. I am not even bothered if I hit the target of 50 books.

I am currently listening to Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman. This is a dreamy prequel to Practical Magic and very soothing to listen to. I am also listening to the Enid Blyton collection called Winter Stories which I bought for Austin to listen to but I am enjoying immensely on my own! He loves the stories too, by the way.

I am just starting Christmas by Candlelight by Karen Swan on Kindle – putting aside for now Romancing Mr Bridgerton (the new Bridgeton series release date has just been announced and I have until May to read this book so there is no urgency).

I also really want to get into Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Törzs but I have struggled to find time to read this beautiful hardback edition. I need the right reading position, lighting and reading glasses and these have not lined up for me. Maybe on one of my days off this week…
