Our plans tonight are quiet and low-key. This is deliberate. Much as I love to ring in the new year with friends, I really wanted this one to be a chance to leave this year behind in a way that allowed for quiet reflection rather than raucous merriment.
We will still be playing some party games with the kids. We will be eating our favourite meal – fish tacos. We will be opening a bottle of blush prosecco. We will say goodbye to the old year and wish for good things for 2024.
And with this post, I have written a post for each of the last 100 days.
