My intention to connect more with friends this year has started very well indeed. Today I was treated to lunch with a relatively new good friend – one of the mums from Austin’s class. We always have such great chats and have so much in the way of shared experiences, especially with our six/seven year old boys. I love that feeling of clicking with someone.
And this evening, after two failed dinner dates (both cancellations my fault), I am out for dinner with my dear friend from my previous school. It has been way too long.
My word of the year is certainly starting to work its magic.
