Frozen Saturday

The air is so cold that it takes the breath away. Across the field, the fog is finally clearing but the frost from the morning has clung on all day. As the sun sinks down behind the trees and the houses, there is a sparkle across the grass and surrounding shrubs that is captivating.

Harper flies after each ball, skidding and flipping over with her youthful momentum. She is always a little extra excitable when the ground is frozen and the frost has kissed every blade of grass.

With the sun dipping ever lower, the sky shifts through a beautiful spectrum of colours. It is the coldest walk of the winter so far but it might also be the most stunning.
